I started over a decade ago in data centers as a systems and network engineer, taking fleets from hardware racks to cloud platforms. That path led me to Principal Software Engineer roles with a focus on Site Reliability and platform architecture.
Today I design and operate platforms with Go, GNU/Linux, automation, and cloud services, with a strong preference for open source. My current focus includes:
- Security, observability, and reliability
- Infrastructure as code and automation
- Process isolation, operating systems, and networking
- CNIs such as Calico and Cilium
- Systems architecture, Go programming, and LLMs/AI integrations
- Tooling such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and well-crafted shell scripts
If you want practical guidance on software engineering, system/network engineering, SRE, or platform architecture with Go and cloud-native tooling, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help you get started or level up.
